Zinedine Zidane crossed another landmark milestone with Real Madrid in the team’s latest league victory as the team has now scored over 500 goals in all the matches he has overseen since he first took over as head coach in 2015-16. The French Real Madrid legend is leaving an indelible mark in the Spanish capital and this remarkable accomplishment just serves to further highlight the force that he has been as a manager. The peak of Real Madrid’s goalscoring and perhaps, footballing performance, was in 2016-17 when the team amassed 173 goals. 2015-16 and 2018-19 were partial seasons for the manager which is why they don’t measure up to the others. 2019-20 is ongoing but the team is nearing 100 goals already.
