The design not only boasts the same bio-organic armor that the other Rangers wore in the movie, but it also has a dragon-shaped helmet and chest plate echoing the original Green Ranger suit. Tommy is also shown clutching a large bladed weapon, which could be the Sword of Darkness.
Tommy Oliver first appeared in the five-part storyline "Green With Evil" during season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, where he was brainwashed by Rita Repulsa into becoming the Green Ranger. After being freed from Rita's control, Tommy joined the other Rangers and continued to serve across various teams. Tommy is also a major player in the BOOM! Studios Ranger comics. In the 2017 movie, Rita wielded the Green Power Coin which gives Tommy his powers.
