The Mandalorian Theory: Season 2 Returns to Lothal From Star Wars Rebels

Disney recently released the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of The Mandalorian, resulting in a slew of fan theories popping up online. Dedicated fans have picked through the trailer with precision, finding possible hidden Easter eggs and speculating about what the newest season may hold for Din Djarin and The Child. One Reddit post sparked a theory that the pair may be traveling to a familiar city in the Star Wars universe -- Lothal's Capital City, a central setting of the Star Wars Rebels series. The theory is actually a response to a different theory posted by Reddit user u/KingGreystone555. The original user proposed that the city shown towards the beginning of the trailer is Coruscant, which was home to the Jedi Temple. Thus, it'd make some sense that Din was searching for the temple in order to find the Jedi, since his mission in Season 2 is to turn Baby Yoda over to them. This theory is quite intriguing and would be a wild way to incorporate the history of the Star Wars universe; however, it doesn't hold much weight, as the city shown in the trailer is nothing like the regal city of Coruscant.
