Stretch of Duke Street closed as police rush to ongoing incident
Emergency services have rushed to an ongoing incident on an east end road this morning.
A stretch of Duke Street has been closed due to a Police Scotland incident between John Knox Street and Bellgrove Street.
Glasgow City Council have confirmed that officers have shut down the street, but said the diversions were "unknown at this time".
A council statement reads: "Due to a Police incident, Duke Street is closed between John Knox Street and Bellgrove Street."
First Glasgow have also confirmed on Twitter that buses for the services 41 and 90 have been diverted away from the road.
They have asked passengers to contact them for additional information on the reroute.
First Glasgow said: "Services number 41 and 90 diverting at Duke Street due to Police incident. Please tweet us for more information on these diversions."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
