Over 6000 KTM Bikes Sold In February 2020 In India

KTM’s success story under the reign of Bajaj Auto is there for the world automotive industry to see and it has contributed in significant premium bike sales for its owner domestically as well as abroad where the brand holds great value. The Austrian manufacturer has already updated its models to comply with BSVI emission standards.
Last month, the heavily upgraded Duke 200 was the most sold motorcycle within the company’s local portfolio. It posted a total of 2,900 units as against 2,053 units during the same month last year with 41 per cent sales increase. Priced at Rs. 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the Duke 200 is finally in line with its bigger 250 and 390 naked siblings in styling courtesy of the 2020 MY updates.
The Duke 390 along with the numbers of its 390 siblings stood second with a massive sales growth of 421 per cent as 1,505 units were recorded against just 289 units during the corresponding period in 2019. The 2020 KTM Duke 390 costs Rs. 2.52 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and is powered by a 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine producing 43 hp and 37 Nm.
