49ers TE George Kittle takes a seat due to a knee injury, and that opens a bunch of targets in the San Francisco offense, especially as they continue to deal with injuries at receiver. Former fantasy standout Jordan Reed should step into the starting lineup with Kittle out, making for an intriguing DFS option.
Saints WR Michael Thomas was ruled out on Saturday as he continues to nurse a high ankle sprain. No one player will be able to fill his role in the offense, so we should expect Drew Brees to spread the targets out among his other skill-position players, including Alvin Kamara, Emmanuel Sanders and Jared Cook.
Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin was downgraded to out on Saturday as he remains in the concussion protocol. The Bucs have an excellent matchup on tap against the young Panthers defense, so players like Mike Evans and Scotty Miller could be primed for huge performances.
Titans WR A.J. Brown will miss out on a great matchup in Week 2 as he's been ruled out for his game against the Jaguars. Corey Davis and Adam Humphries should see more targets with Brown sidelined, but it's also possible the Titans just hand the ball to Derrick Henry as much as he can handle.
Lions WR Kenny Golladay will miss a second straight week due to a hamstring injury, leaving Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola to pick up the slack in the passing game.
