Modern Warfare: Is the Bunker 10 nuke about to change the map in Warzone?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Season 4 content drop saw lots of new modes, weapons and changes added to the game. Along with this new content, it seems Warzone’s Verdansk could also see a change.
An explosive shake-up to the state of Warzone has long been teased by Infinity Ward for some time now. Except for the bunkers, Verdansk hasn’t been altered too much since the launch of the Battle Royale favourite.
Subtle clues to a shakeup within the city, however, have been appearing throughout Warzone for a number of weeks. Numerous bunkers have been opened across the map and Russian military nuclear missiles have been discovered.
Warzone’s bunkers were inaccessible for a while after release and, even after they began to open, there were still questions about the infamous Bunker 11 that contains a nuclear warhead.
And with the arrival of Bunker 10 at the start of Season 4, a mammoth nuclear missile was found hidden behind one of the doors — but what does this mean?
There’s only a small section of the missile on show for players, but it has sparked several theories as to what is coming to Verdansk.
One common theory amongst players suggests that a nuke will impact the Dam and drench all of Verdansk, forcing a subsequent relocation to an all-new Warzone map.
And with the duration of Season 4 having just 34 days remaining, nukes could well be used to spark a mid-season change or a further twist in the story.
