Kansas City Chiefs updated COVID-19 list
Ahead of the Buffalo Bills’ rescheduled game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, both teams have been doing well with team coronavirus protocols and remain healthy for the most part. On Tuesday, October 13, the Chiefs placed fullback Anthony Sherman on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor, Sherman was on the list due to an exposure to the virus during their Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, but it’s important to note that he did not receive a positive test. Sherman, a key piece on Kansas City’s special teams unit will likely be out for Monday’s game after playing in 75% of the team’s STs snaps so far this season. He also has played 33 snaps on offense in the first five weeks, a pace of 9.46%.
Along with Anthony Sherman, a strength and conditioning coach for Kansas City and Chiefs’ practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta’amu both tested positive for COVID-19 prior to their Week 4 matchup originally scheduled against the New England Patriots according to Adam Schefter,
Buffalo currently has no players on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
