'General Hospital': Report Confirms Dominic Zamprogna's Return as Dante Falconeri
General Hospital fans will be happy to know that after the months of rumors, it looks like Dominic Zamprogna is coming back to the soap opera as Dante Falconeri. Details are scant right now, but it is a huge step after Zamprogna has expressed wanting to return to the show.
Dante Falconeri’s story during the last time we saw him
After leaving the show for the first time, Zamprogna returned for a special episode in 2018 for his character’s father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The actor then returned again for several episodes that aired in March 2019.
The most recent return saw his father helped him find the man who shot his wife, Lulu Spencer. Falconeri ended up killing the man, named Raj Patel, in self-defense. He reunited with Spencer and his kids but he had started suffering from PTSD from everything that happened. He left town to protect Spencer and the children.

Zamprogna first told Soaps in Depth back in May that he was interested in returning to the show as a main cast member.
