Fortnite's Fabled Coral Castle (Atlantis) Uncovered By Lower Water Level

The new Coral Castle POI in Fortnite has finally been uncovered and it is exactly what fans were expecting. Fortnite's water level has lowered over the past few weeks leading up to the reveal of Coral Castle. Fans speculated the POI would be Atlantis due to the season 3 crossover with Aquaman, and they were right about everything but the name. On July 1, a patch for Fortnite was released containing information regarding a new underwater location. Data miners were able to retrieve this information along with a time frame in which the POI would become available. July 1 also marked the first day that the water levels in Fortnite began to lower, and over the next four weeks the water would continue to subside revealing more and more lands to explore. The leak also claimed that the POI would be called The Ruins. One month later and the new POI is here, except under a different name. Coral Castle is the newest addition to Battle Island, and it very obviously features large coral plants and a castle. Fortnite has yet to announce the reveal of this new POI, but players who log in can find it located at the top of the map north of Sweaty Sands. Coral Castle is Fortnite's representation of Atlantis, and it fits perfectly with the waterlogged theme of the season.
