COVID-19 case identified at Ironwood Ridge High School
TUCSON, Ariz. — Amphitheater Unified School District says someone who has reported a positive COVID-19 test result was present at Ironwood Ridge High School.
In a letter sent to families Friday, the district says it is taking steps to help control the spread of COVID-19 with mitigation protocols, including wear a face covering at school, maintain appropriate physical distancing from others, and regular hand-washing.
The Pima County Health Department has been informed of the positive case, in which they will conduct contact tracing and will communicate with anyone who may have been exposed.
