New Captain America art from BossLogic shows Chris Evans looking extra buff in an homage to a classic piece of comics promo art. Evans has played Steve Rogers/Captain America since Captain America: The First Avenger came out in 2011. He quickly became a fan favorite character and sparring partner to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man. Evans then starred in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which many consider to be the strongest MCU film of all time. The movie is beloved for its action sequences especially, including a memorable elevator fight scene with Captain America. Since appearing in his first MCU movie, Evans has starred in six more, with cameos in several others. Unfortunately, Captain America's time in the Marvel world is over for now. Steve made the decision at the end of Avengers: Endgame to travel back in time and create a life with his first love, Peggy Carter. He met up with Sam Wilson/Falcon as an old man, passing his shield and the Captain America mantle onto him. This decision will factor heavily into the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In it, Sam will struggle with Captain America's legacy and the expectations that come with the shield. That series will also feature Steve's other best friend, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, though Sam and Bucky won't get along in the beginning.
