Just one week after announcing their comeback single, BTS has revealed the name of the track.
On Sunday, August 2 (or August 3 in South Korea), Big Hit Entertainment revealed that the K-pop group would be dropping their upcoming single, titled “Dynamite,” on August 21. No further details about the song were given, although the announcement tweet included the song’s name in a colorful, retro font against a millennial pink background. BTS’s official Twitter account soon updated their profile and header image to match the aesthetic of the new single.
Naturally, the announcement — which came without a countdown or warning — sent ARMYs into a frenzy. “A new era has begun,” one fan declared, with another predicting that “Dynamite” will become the song of the year.
