Bengals vs. Browns injury report: Updates on Geno Atkins, Jarvis Landry, Randy Bullock and more
The Bengals have officially ruled out Geno Atkins for Thursday’s showdown with the Browns.
After failing to practice at all last week due to a shoulder injury, Atkins once again missed all three sessions this week. He had previously appeared in 96 straight games.
Not only is Atkins out, but so too is his primary backup in Mike Daniels, who didn’t practice this week due to a groin injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. That means the Bengals are down to D.J. Reader, Christian Covington, Andrew Brown and Amani Bledsoe at defensive tackle for Thursday.
Also ruled out were safety Shawn Williams (calf) and Xavier Su’a-Filo (ankle). Su’a-Filo was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, so he’s out for at least two more games. It’s unclear when Williams will be able to return after missing the last month due to a calf injury suffered in training camp.
Randy Bullock (calves), Billy Price (ankle) and Sam Hubbard (knee) are not on the final injury report, so they’re good to go. It looks like Bullock will be kicking Thursday, despite the Bengals adding Austin Seibert this week.
As for the Browns, their offensive line could be in a world of hurt with three starters listed as questionable to play. Rookie Jedrick Wills (shin) and veteran Jack Conklin (ankle/finger) already had their work cut out for them against Carlos Dunlap, Sam Hubbard and Carl Lawson.
