The game has been around for a long time, but the Nintendo Switch version was released just in time to get folks through the pandemic with relatively good mental health. Even celebrities are getting in on the action. Although Chrissy Teigen is a social media butterfly, she’s not into being social in the game. Teigen has been posting Animal Crossing content on her incredibly popular Twitter feed since the game was released, but she doesn’t take advantage of all the game has to offer. According to Teigen, she likes to fish, and shake trees for money. At this point she’s probably ‘bellionaire,’ but she’s not sharing. Teigen posted: “I don’t like visiting other people’s islands or inviting people to mine. I honestly don’t really get or care for the switch friend code thing.” That’s a surprising stance coming from someone so social.
