Area bowling: George continues her great game streak
Tracy George is probably the top woman bowler so far this year. Two weeks ago she rolled her first 800, an 813, in the Great River Queens League.
Tracy rolled another 700 and almost her second 800 series with a 792 series this week. Tracy had games of 257-269-266 for the 792 series. This year already, Tracy has bowled five other 700 series. She rolled series of 785, 725, 714, 708 and 705.
I was unable to get in contact with Tracy, but her scores probably speak for themselves.
Brian Reimann bowled a 800 series in the Wednesday Tri County League at Great River Bowl. Brian started with a 279 game, then topped it with a 298 and finished with a 234 for a 811 series.
Jose Uvero Jr. rolled two honor counts in the City League at Southway Bowl. Bo rolled games of 245-257-300 for a 802 series.
Gordy Schreifels rolled a 300 game in the Tri City League at Great River Bowl. Gordy rolled games of 300-185-228 for a 713 series.
Mitch Keller came close again to being perfect in the City League at Southway Bowl. Mitch had a 298 and totaled 702 for the night.
A 298 game rolled by Josh Tufigno was not local, being bowled at Flaherty's in Arden Hills, but Josh bowls in the Stearns County League. Josh started with games of 257 and 236 before his 298 game where he left a 6-10 on the last shot for a 791 series.
