Ant and Dec share clip as they joke about signing seven billion copies of their book in one sitting
They recently joined a host of British stars as part of a new mental health campaign.
And Ant and Dec were doing their bit to keep people's spirits up, as they took to social media as they shared a light-hearted clip to Instagram on Friday.
The double act posted to advertise their latest book Once Upon A Tyne as they joked about signing more than seven billion copies in one sitting.
In the split-screen video, the pair sit behind a desk as they put pen to paper with Dec handing books to his counterpart, Ant.
A large white counter monitors the number of books completed before the duo speed up the operation and cause their pens to smoke.
The clip finally comes to an end with the counter stopped at 7,989,437,000.
The dynamic duo uploaded the light-hearted clip alongside a caption that read: 'Cheers to everyone who ordered a signed copy of our book a few weeks back... for those who missed out… we've signed a few more. Phew!'
It comes after Ant and Dec joined a whole host of British stars including Gordon Ramsay, Holly Willoughby, David Walliams and Laura Whitmore as part of a new mental health campaign.
ITV's Britain Get Talking features more than 20 of the nation's famous faces speaking in a video call about staying connected.
The advert raises the importance of reaching out to people during these unprecedented times of lockdown and isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic.
