Activision job listing suggests Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile Call of Duty: Warzone may be on its way to mobile devices, according to a now-removed job listing spotted by Charlie Intel (via VG 24/7). The Battle Royale game is currently available on consoles and PC for free. The job listing was discovered on Activision’s website, which called for an Executive Producer, Features, to work on “WZM.” Charlie Intel believes WZM to be an acronym for “Warzone Mobile.” The publication captured a screenshot of the job listing, which describes a “new AAA mobile FPS in the Call of Duty franchise.” Since its release in March, Warzone has become a tentpole in Activision’s lineup, amassing over 75 million players since launch. Months after release, the playerbase is still going strong, with continuous updates keeping the Battle Royale shooter fresh with new content. Adding a mobile version into the mix will further cement Warzone as one of the premier Battle Royale titles on the market, rivaled by the likes of Fortnite and PUBG. According to the job listing, the mobile version of Warzone will likely be a watered-down version of what’s currently available on consoles and PCs.
