In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Sir Keir said the only focus now for the party is “what sort of a deal we have with the EU and what sort of deals we have with the rest of the world”.

Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph, Sir Keir said: “We’ve left the EU, and therefore, the Leave/Remain argument is over and the only argument now is what sort of a deal we have with the EU and what sort of deals we have with the rest of the world. “It’s very important for the Labour Party to be clear that whatever position we and others have taken in the last three and a half, four years, that divide between Leave and Remain is now over.”
